Hat die europäische Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise und die sich anschließende Flüchtlingskrise die europäischen Gesellschaften zugleich in eine moralische Krise geführt? Auf Grundlage einer erstmalig europaweit angelegten empirischen Datenanalyse gehen Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler aus 13 europäischen Ländern und insgesamt sechzehn Universitäten und Forschungszentren im Rahmen des EU-Forschungsverbundprojekts RE.CRI.RE seit Mai 2015 dieser Frage nach. Unter Leitung von Prof. Nida-Rümelin möchte das Projektteam der LMU gemeinsam mit Giuseppe Veltri, Mitglied des RE.CRI.RE-Foschungskonsortiums und Professor an der Universität Trento, im Rahmen des Working Seminars einen Überblick über das Gesamtprojekt, erste Forschungsergebnisse sowie insbesondere die philosophischen und ethischen Implikationen dieses Themas diskutieren.

Das Working Seminar ist in zwei Panel unterteilt und findet in deutscher und englischer Sprache statt (Panel 1: deutsch, Panel 2: englisch). Abschließend wird zu einem kleinen Empfang geladen.

Did the economic and financial crisis and the affiliated refugee crisis moreover revealed a pertinent moral crisis in Europe? Based on empirical data, sixteen Universities and Research Centres, covering 13 European countries, are working together within the european framework of Horizon 2020 to investigate what kind of social identity change is occurring in Europe in time of crisis since May 2015. Under the direction of Prof. Nida-Rümelin the German LMU project team and Giuseppe Veltri, member of the RE.CRI.RE research consortium and Professor in Research Methodology at the University of Trento, would appreciate to give a short overview over the whole project, the recent analysis and, essentially, discuss its ethical and philosophical implications within the working seminar.

The Working seminar is subdivided in two panels (panel 1: German language, panel 2: English language). Proceedings will be followed by a small reception.
